Work by Alison Rossiter was installed at Houston Center for Photography in the group exhibition Keeper of the Hearth: Picturing Roland Barthes’ Unseen Photograph from September 10, 2020 – January 10, 2021. Curated by Odette England, the exhibition gathered images and texts by over two-hundred photo-based writers, critics, curators, and historians invited by England to engage Barthes’ influential Camera Lucida book on its fortieth anniversary.
