Meghann Riepenhoff Unveils New Public Commission

Now On Display at 555 Greenwhich

Meghann Riepenhoff's  mural-sized cyanotype triptych Sea+Sky+Sun II is now on permanent display in the lobby of 555 Greenwich Street in New York's Hudson Square neighborhood. Created in waters nearby, the work depicts the unpredictable movements of waves as in the artist's Littoral Drift series. A short documentary video on the creation of the work, and Riepenhoff's process, was produced specially for the occasion and will be on view in the public town hall space at 555 Greenwich in early 2024. The video can be viewed on our website here.

555 Greenwich is a leading development in a new wave of sustainable buildings, aligning with New York State targets for carbon neutrality through 2050. The artworks displayed throughout the building echo this mission in depictions of the Earth's features, surrounding visitors with natural beauty as seen through the eyes of artists.
